SCAM ALERT: Zion Shop Online is controlled by Fraudsters

Christmas is fast approaching and a lot of lazy people are finding all means to swindle money from innocent people. These days, its not just about online money trading but people actually set up online shops without any product to show physically.

One such fraud online shop is Zion Shop Online. This particular claims to be located in the Central Region of Ghana which is false. They have no specific address. Also, all the testimonies on their posts are from fake facebook profiles. A lot of people have claimed to be duped by them.

Our investigative Journalist had a chat with them to ascertain how truful they are. Our Journalist claimed to purchase a 32 inches Television. The person behind their whatsapp contact wanted a down payment before the items will be delivered the next day.

In the conversation, our journalist asked for a proof before he could the money. He asked for their ID. Surprisingly, the ID card sent was already on the web which the fraudsters cropped to deceive him. Check the conversation below:

When our Journalist asked for an ID, He quickly went to the web to search for an ID, cropped and sent as his. However, this particular ID belonged to a fraudster who is even wanted by the Police.

We therefore advised people to be careful and always seek for payment at delivery. Don't forget to share so people see.
