The Prince of Rhumba was in town for the Tokoos Tour. Fally Ipupa gave his best of performances, which has since been termed the biggest show in town last weekend.

The artiste, who is on a mission to bring the shine back on Rhumba, gave his fans a night to remember as they sang and danced at the Uhuru Gardens on Saturday.

"The show was full and they were turning guys away at some point," a source at the event told Monday Blues.

Fally had earlier joined other top international stars at marking of the Texas Cancer Centre's eighth anniversary.

The eventful celebration was marked with song and dance, with cancer survivors giving their testimonies. "We are celebrating eight years of success and we thank all the people and organisations that have been supporting us," said Dr Catherine Nyongesa, the Center’s CEO.

Endorsing the health facility, Fally also opened new wards, which were all been named after celebrities.

"We plan to expand and open branches in major towns like Kisumu and Mombasa," a statement the hospital released to the Press read.

Among celebrities that have endorsed the Centre are America’s Rick Ross, Bobby Valentino and Omarion, Nigeria’s Mr P, Tanzania’s Diamond, and Kenya’s Wahu, Eric Omondi, Kidum and Prezzo.
