It Pains Me Because All Attempts To Feature Daddy Lumba Has Proved Futile – Dada KD

Forgetting the fact that every musician claims he or she is the best, however, behind the scenes they do have their personal favorites among their competitors. In simple terms, whatever you can do, someone out there knows how to the same thing better.

The same thing is happening in the camp of Ghanaian Highlife musician, Dada KD as he has disclosed in a recent interview on Okese FM’s Entertainment Line program hosted by D’oly .

The crooner of the popular “Honey Love” lamented during the interview that all attempts to feature Ghana’s favourite Highlife artiste, Charles Kwadwo Fosu popularly known as Daddy Lumba on a song has not been successful.

    “Daddy Lumba is my favorite as such I’ve been trying hard to get him on a song. Even the fans are yearning for that because we’re from the same town. Sadly, anytime I make the move, it seems he’s not willing to heed to my plea. Even Daddy Lumba’s ‘Yene Wo Sere Kwa’ album should’ve been a joint album but just to wake up to see he did it alone”, Dada KD revealed.

He continued that there’s no way he will worry himself to link up with Daddy Lumba purposely for a collaboration henceforth because even God knows he has done his possible best.

    “Truly, I won’t push for collaboration again. I believe at the right time, Daddy Lumba will make the move. For I’m always available and ever ready to hit the studio with Daddy to cook good tune for the fans”, he stated.

Although despite his displeasure, he asserted that Daddy Lumba do not have a competitor as far as our Ghanaian music is concerned. To him, all ages do enjoy his songs anytime he (Daddy Lumba) releases them.
