"Agya Koo" Denies "Cash Pocketing" Allegation. "I Was Given GHc 600,000 NOT GHc 900,000"

One of Ghana's popular artist Mr Kofi Adu popularly called "Agya Koo" has flatly denied allegation leveled against him by some Kumawood actors that he has pocketed GHc 900,000 given them by the NPP through a director at the National Security outfit.

The popular actor speaking to some journalists at the Afrikiko Restaurant said, the amount quoted by his colleagues was not accurate. He disclosed that he was given GHc 600,000 cheque by the top security officer as part of an amount the Npp promised him before consenting to their request to be part of their campaign.

Agya Koo told the journalists that he was given 17 pieces of super 8mm cameras and other Canon film equipment's for the group which were handed to them.

He went on further to chastise the members for being grateful and inconsistent.He said the Kumawood ladies who accompanied appointees of Government to Dubai and Singapore,embarked on that trip without notifying him and some of the leaders and we did not ask them to disclose what they received from those trips so why this attack.

The popular actor said he has already narrated the matter to his lawyer and ready to meet them in court.
