Selena Gomez Plans on Meeting The Weeknd's Family. Are Wedding Bells Ringing?

The former Disney darling makes her friends believe that the 'Starboy' hitmaker is 'the one' for her as she is reportedly planning to meet his family in May, when he performs in Toronto.

Selena Gomez definitely falls head over heels in love with her new beau The Weeknd and they may bring their romance into the next step. The "Hands to Myself" singer is previously reported to introduce her new boyfriend to her family. Now a new report emerges saying Selena is going to meet the Canadian heartthrob's family soon.

A source tells HollywoodLife.com, "Selena plans on meeting The Weeknd's family in May, when he performs in his hometown Toronto." The source adds that the 24-year-old singer is "super excited to meet his mom" as well as the rest of his family.

With family meetings already planned from both sides, a wedding announcement will not be surprising at this point. Even the former Disney darling allegedly feels that "Abel [Tesfaye] is the first boyfriend she's had that she could seriously see herself marrying and having kids with." Her friends believe that The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, is "the one" for her, as Selena never hesitates to showcase her strong feeling for her new boyfriend.

"It just clicks between them, and everything is perfect. Abel is her best friend," the source adds, before continuing, "She knows it's still early days, but she's never felt this way about someone before." The site states that all of Selena's friends are joking about going to buy new dresses for their wedding.

Although they are forced to be apart due to The Weeknd's "Starboy" tour, they have no difficulties to keep their communication just fine. Another insider gushes, "They do it all, text, call and send pictures and video chat." The insider adds, "They are always a moment away from each other and they make it very easy to get a hold of one another."
